We encourage Service. We have the ability, the opportunity, and the duty to serve our fellow human beings. Our reward is the satisfaction that comes from serving.

As one of our core principals, service is a duty of the men of Phi Gamma Delta. Every year we actively participate in giving back to the community. We both volunteer for and host charitable events all year long such as Bikes Blues and Barbecue. We also work with local philanthropic groups such as The American Red Cross, The Boys and Girls Club, and local churches in an effort to help our community prosper.

This year we started two new philanthropic traditions, the first annual FIJI basketball run with the Missouri State chapter and the first annual Carrol of the Greeks pageant. The proceeds for both events went to the Red Cross.
The first annual FIJI Basketball run was a sponsorship drive between the two chapters raising over $11,000. We then carried a basketball from Fayetteville, AR to Springfield, MO. The Phi Alpha Chapter left Fayetteville, AR at 9:00pm on Friday night and met up with the Delta Colony around 5:00am on Saturday morning. From there, the Delta Colony at Missouri State along with two Arkansas brothers ran to Springfield, MO where they presented the Check to the American Red Cross at halftime during the basketball game between the two schools.
